Are you ready to explore the Amazon rainforest? In this package you will experience the experience of being part of the jungle. “Fresh Water” offers you the opportunity to visit Muyuna in a few days and at the same time stay with the satisfaction of having known the spirit of the jungle. This package has the activities of the previous package plus activities such as canoeing day and night to discover the mysteries of the jungle. Day 01: ARRIVAL IN IQUITOS
- Land transfer from hotel or airport.
- Departure before 10 am by road and river to the lodge (total journey takes about 3 hours).
- Lunch.
- First jungle immersion: meet the Pygmy Marmoset, the smallest monkey in the world.
- Walk around our botanical garden, explore local plants and learn about composting practices.
- Dinner.
- Nocturnal excursion by boat to see caymans,
Nocturnal birds and mammals.
Day 02: IN MUYUNA
- Breakfast
- Excursion to swim in the Amazon River and watch pink and gray dolphins.
- Observation of Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world. Observation of iguanas.
- Lunch.
- Piranha fishing.
- Sunset on lake Sapote.
- Dinner.
- Night walk in search of huge tarantulas and frogs.
Day 03: IN MUYUNA
-Nature’s awakening: birdwatching at dawn. No experience needed.
-Breakfast.
-Boat excursion to lakes or streams upriver searching for different bird species and monkeys.
-Authentic visit to San Juan De Yanayacu’s village.
-Lunch.
-Observation of Hoatzin, a prehistoric bird found on swamps.
-Dinner.
-Nocturnal canoe trip to listen to the jungle.
Day 04: MUYUNA LODGE-IQUITOS AIRPORT-FLIGHT OUT
-Breakfast
-Morning excursion with kayaks or canoe exploring lakes near Yanayacu.
-Wind down on hammocks, poofs or swimming in Yanayacu river before departure.
-Lunch
-At 13:00 we depart from the lodge to the airport or hotel in Iquitos. Arrival at 4:00pm approximately. END OF SERVICES
