Humpback whale watching:
Learn everything about this incredible activity in northern Peru

Powerful as they are attractive, humpback whales are considered the most acrobatic. Despite being solitary beings, they gather in groups to fish and that is where you will enjoy their turns, movements and spectacular sounds. And all that here, in the north of Peru.
Through a three and a half hour boat tour along the beaches of El Ñuro, Máncora, Cabo Blanco, Los Órganos and Punta Sal, you will be enchanted by its imposing pirouettes which are associated with mating rituals. Don’t forget that the best season to observe them is from mid-July to the end of October. There you will find more than 5 thousand specimens of humpback whales that arrive from Antarctica, where they offer us a beautiful marine spectacle on the beaches of Piura and Tumbes.
In addition to the sighting of humpback whales, you will also see whale sharks, manta rays, sea lions, dolphins and sea turtles, who will approach the boats, creating a natural spectacle out to sea. We recommend that you go in the mornings, between 7 and 11 am, to enjoy the view. We assure you that it will be worth it.
